Mr. Viel Biography
Dominique Viel was born and raised in Dreux, France. His family moved to NYC where Mr. Viel completed public high school and later earned a BA and BFA in French Literature and Art (painting) from Herbert H. Lehman College (CUNY), and an MFA (painting) from Pratt Institute. Mr. Viel taught Art and Art in Special Education at George Washington High School in Manhattan for thirty two years. He and Mrs. Viel have been team-teaching Art for all grade levels at STCA/CAST since January 2022. Mr Viel is fluent in both English and French.
